直島・本村地区で展開しているRing of Fireーヤンの太陽＆ウィーラセタクンの月の【Solar（昼）】のアーティストであるヤン・ヘギュのオリジナル商品です。
Ring of Fireに展示しているランタンをモチーフにしています。バッグチャームのフリンジ部分とひもは、高松を拠点に活動するデザイナーの吉原潤氏が、香川県の伝統工芸である保多織（ぼたおり）の生地を使用し、一点一点手づくりで製作しました。ひもには、アクセサリー作家の峯川礼子氏が作品をもとにデザインしたオリジナルの刺繍が施されています。透明なビーズがアクセントとなり、繊細な輝きを添えています。
フリンジの下に付けたアクリルパーツは実際の作品でランタン下部に使用されている木製パーツのデータをもとにしています。

DescriptionThis bag charm is inspired by Haegue Yang’s artwork, 'Mesmerizing Votive Pagoda Lantern - Snow Volcano Ultramundane Flowers', featured in 'Ring of Fire – Solar Yang & Lunar Weerasethakul.'
The accessory was handcrafted collaboratively by Jun Yoshihara and Rei Minegawa. Yoshihara, a Takamatsu-based designer and the founder of the brand 'boutique june,' handmade the body and cord using Botaori, a traditional textile from Kagawa Prefecture. Minegawa, founder of the embroidery accessory brand 'hanmmmo', created the custom embroidery using transparent beads to represent the light of the artwork.
Completing the design, the acrylic tag is a reproduction of the wooden tag from the original artwork.
